Sr. Manager / AGM – Techno-Commercial

This role is responsible for leading strategic procurement and techno-commercial functions for large-scale manufacturing projects. The position oversees CAPEX procurement, global sourcing, vendor management, commercial negotiations, contract administration, and cost optimization while ensuring seamless project execution, compliance, and operational excellence.

• Lead end-to-end CAPEX procurement activities for manufacturing equipment, utilities, infrastructure, and project-related requirements.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project execution plans, timelines, budgets, and business objectives.
• Drive global sourcing initiatives for critical manufacturing equipment and technology packages while ensuring technical and commercial competitiveness.
• Conduct detailed techno-commercial evaluations, including technical compliance, lifecycle cost analysis, vendor capability assessment, and benchmarking.
• Lead commercial negotiations and contract finalization covering pricing, payment terms, warranties, performance guarantees, delivery schedules, and contractual obligations.
• Drive cost optimization initiatives through strategic sourcing, global benchmarking, value engineering, and supplier negotiations.
• Develop and strengthen relationships with domestic and international suppliers to build a reliable and scalable vendor ecosystem.
• Collaborate with project, engineering, finance, legal, and operations teams to ensure seamless procurement execution and project alignment.
• Monitor procurement milestones, identify risks proactively, and implement mitigation plans to avoid project delays and cost overruns.
• Establish and maintain procurement policies, SOPs, governance frameworks, and internal controls to ensure transparency and operational excellence.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, statutory requirements, audit standards, lender requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
• Drive SAP-enabled procurement processes, workflow automation, approval controls, and data-driven procurement management.
• Prepare and present procurement MIS reports, cost analysis, budget versus actual reports, procurement dashboards, and project status updates to senior management.
• Ensure proper master data management, vendor records, contract documentation, and procurement data integrity within ERP systems.
• Support project financing requirements, strategic initiatives, and business expansion plans through effective procurement leadership.
• Perform any other responsibilities assigned by management from time to time.

• B.E./ B. Tech (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Industrial, or related discipline).
• MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Procurement, or Finance is preferred.
